RV Camping Near Wurstfest in New Braunfels

Every November, New Braunfels hosts Wurstfest, a ten-day celebration of German heritage with sausage, live music, dancing, and beer halls full of new friends. Wurstfest 2026 runs November 6 through 15 on the festival grounds near the Comal River. If you are bringing the RV, Canopy is the way to do it right.

Why RVers Love Wurstfest Week at Canopy

The resort is about ten minutes from downtown New Braunfels, where the festival grounds sit along the Comal. Spend the evening with the polka bands and potato pancakes, then come home to a quiet, gated resort where the party winds down on your schedule. No hotel markup, no long drive back... just your own bed on your own site.

Your Festival Base Camp

Every site is an oversized full-hookup site with a concrete patio, picnic table, and room for two extra vehicles... handy when friends join for the weekend. Mornings start with complimentary coffee in the clubhouse, and the free weekend hot breakfast is a welcome sight after a big festival night. Between sessions, there is the resort pool, lighted pickleball courts, a 24-hour fitness center, and two shaded dog parks. Full rundown on our amenities page.

Make a Whole Trip of It

November is prime Hill Country weather. Historic Gruene, with Gruene Hall and the Gristmill, is 20 minutes away, San Antonio is 25, and Canyon Lake is a 40 minute drive... see our nearby attractions page. And if you fall in love with the area, you are ten minutes from Schlitterbahn for a return trip come summer.
